Who doesn’t love to dance! I get so few opportunities to cut up a rug 1) cause usually I’m working, and 2) nobody wants to see a 6′1″ 200# sweaty white guy dancing badly. So instead I hang out on the side of the dance floor and take pictures of really good dancers at weddings. One of my California weddings last year was in Point Reyes Station, (the same place that Prince Charles visited in the fall of 2005).
Sure, I get the usual traditional shots, but then, I like to get a bit creative. I love how the motion of the bride in dance is captured in every part of this shot.
8-steps to get more photoblog traffic:
How to get more comments (and traffic ) to your blog:
1) Blog about things that you find interesting. Odds are if you like it, someone else will, too.
2) Write for Humans, not Google or other SearchBots. The nerds are always trying to create more human search algorithms.
3) Visit blogs you like and emulate (don’t copy) them. Over time you will find your own style.
4) Leave authentic comments on posts you enjoyed.
5) Blog everyday! You want to have a content rich site, with lots of great pictures and text.
6) Join a few photoblog communities.
7) Ask people directly to read and comment on your blog. Ask your friends & family and everyone else you know.
