Every spring, the Texas bluebonnets make an appearance. Sometimes its just for a few days, and some years it’s a month long show of wildflowers. This year, we’ve been lucky and had a great season for the bluebonnets.
And for those of you that are lucky enough to live in central texas, you know that the spring weather is one of the reasons we live here. Weekends are absolutely beautiful. When you combine the great Texas weather with the spectacular bluebonnet show, the conditions are perfect for some candid family portraits.
Last weekend I headed over to one of my secret bluebonnet locations (don’t ask, I won’t tell), and took some lifestyle pictures of one of my previous wedding clients among the bluebonnets. We spent about an hour among the blue wildflowers, and did a mix of traditional bluebonnet pictures, as well as some great lifestyle photos.
