Ok, so I’ve made a bunch of promises to a lot of people. I told my friends from the open house at Vista West Ranch that some shots would be up on my blog shortly, as I did with the ISES Austin, NEAWP, NACE summer games group. And then I shot a great wedding last weekend that I need to get to, too. I’m sure I’m forgetting 2-3 other groups, as well. Please forgive me.
The reason I’m putting all everyone off is so I can get my mom and mother-in-law off my back. You see, yesterday Jenn and I picked up Riley, a cute little 4-year-old West Highland White Terrier also known as a WHWT, or more commonly a Westie.
We found him searching the internet, of course. He’s a rescue dog – He came from a home with a Taco Bell Dog that was a bit too aggressive. His wounds from the mean chihuahua are now scabbed over and healing nicely. His coat is beautiful, and his eyes are curious and inquisitive. All he needs is a bath.
Riley has a little 4-cylinder motor that revs up around 9000 RPM. When he pops the clutch, it's 0-60 in an instant.
By the way, all these photos were taken with my F5, and using Fuji 400 Pro H pulled 1-stop. I used my favorite lens, the Nikon 105mm f2.8 VR

What a cutie! I’ve always loved Westies.
