I’m so excited! I just found out that the new Real Simple Wedding Magazine is out at Crate & Barrel, and that I’m one of the Wedding Photography Experts listed. Again! Two years in a row!

This is my favorite wedding magazine every year. First of all there are very few ads in the guide. As you may or may not know, I don’t advertise in the traditional way. This wedding guide is all about content. Lots of great info to help brides of any budget plan their wedding. There are great photos from real weddings, an 18-month wedding planner, checklists of questions for all your wedding vendors, and of course great articles talking about current trends.
The photo and video section has info about what you should get with your photo package (remember all my packages include a disc with the original digital negatives), including info on albums, prints, and digital copies. Another section has 10 tips about your wedding photography, 3 of which were written by yours truly.
Right now you can check out some of the tips on the Real Simple website. If you get the chance I encourage you to stop by your local Crate and Barrel to pick up your copy of the Real Simple Wedding Guide. In a few weeks more and more stores will begin to carry it, too.

Congratulations on the inclusion into the recent edition of Real Simple Weddings! I haven’t had a chance to check out the new edition, but I have the old one and love it. I keep it in my office and occasionally lend it to my brides. I am looking forward to seeing what the new issue has to offer and of course seeing some of your images.

Congrats on being in the Real Simple Wedding Guide. I was actually in Crate and Barrel this past weekend and saw the mag – just did not pick it up. I will have to go back and get a copy now that I know you are in it.
