I don’t even know where to start to describe this wedding. Jessica Moore with something to Celebrate came to me 8 months ago and said, “do you want to do another wedding at the Wildflower Center with me”? Of course I do. How many times do you get the chance to do a perfect fall wedding with one of the best wedding designers in Austin? She told me the bride was on a budget, but there would be a lot of details – and when I hear that I know that means the families would do a lot of the work and there would be tons of personal touches. And there were. From the cupcakes, to the hand painted wedding signs, to all the flower arrangements – there were personal touches everywhere! Just check out the photos to see for yourself.

- It was a wet weekend all over Austin. The rains came early in September, causing everyone to shift to the “rain plan”.

- The bride had her bases covered. Sometimes the weather in September in Austin is sweltering, so orange and red fans were presented.

- The sign in Table had old family photos, and corresponding orange and redo colors.

- French cuffs on a Tux mean only one thing – style.

- Dad hangs the sign, so there is no mistake where the wedding will be held.

- Using some of the tables and chairs that are part of the Wildflower Center can save a few dollars at your wedding

- Handpainted cocktail hours signs directed guests at the wedding to the bar

- Everybody was trained in Kung-Fu (or so I was told)

- An exquisite example of a 4 tiered square wedding cake by Michelle’s patisserie. The roses were provided by Coby Neal

- Because of the threat of rain, all the round tables were moved to under the awnings lining the perimeter of the main courtyard. The chairs would be brough out from the ceremony during the cocktail hour.

- Orange and Pink tablecloths covered the round tables. The napkins were carefully folded and centered at each place setting.

- Guests had the choice of fans or umbrellas as they arrived.

- The bridesmaids wore strapless pink knee-length dresses and looked great

- Guitarist Chris Vincent played beautifully as the wedding started. The picture in the back was hand painted by the bride’s grandmother.

- One of the most important shots a wedding photogarpher can get is the look on the groom’s face when he sees his bride walking down the aisle.

- 200+ guests filled the Wildflower center to capacity.

- Sometimes it gets very crowded at the altar at a wedding. But it is still possible to get some great shots, you just have to be more creative, and be sure to not disturb the ceremony

- The 10 person round tables are decorated and ready for guests. There was lots of room to move around, even with the rain plan active.

- Of course someone had a birthday – so sparklers and cupcakes were brought out as everyone sang “Happy Birthday”

- A late night snack was Whataburger Jr’s. The servers piled them onto trays and passed them sometime around 10:00.

- Even the mothers “got down”

- The live band was Radio Star, and they cranked out the 80′s hits late, late, late into the night.

- Nobody wanted to leave,

- But when they did, it was in a red Caddy Convertible.

Yea, I am so excited to see some pictures from the wedding!! Eric, I can’t believe how fast you were getting these posted….I can’t wait to see the rest!!! Fabulous job….
