It’s all about consistency. As a wedding photographer, I want to make sure that my clients, all the brides and grooms out there are getting exactly what they want. When people hire me to photograph their wedding get two things – great consistent wedding photos, and the most incredible customer service on the planet. It’s your wedding. You will be treated like an uberBride. No bridezilla clients for me!
This wedding blog, if you want to call it that is all about showcasing my consistency as a wedding photographer. It doesn’t matter the time of year, or where your wedding is taking place, rain or shine, light or dark. You can be assured that your wedding pics are all going to have my signature style. I’ll incorporate it into each portrait, and every group shot, and of course, catch all the candid moments like a fly on the wall at your wedding.
These two shots, combined into a single picture were taken with one of my favorite films, Kodak Portra 800 NC If you compare them closely with the portraits from yesterday, you will begin to see the differences in the two different kinds of film. Yesterday’s shots were with Fuji Pro 400H. Today’s wedding portraits are a bit different, there is a touch more grain, and the skin tones are a bit redder. All four pictures were taken around the same time of day, and in my usual style, and in the same county in Texas. Which do you prefer? I like both, and each has its place at a wedding. The Kodak Portra 800 speed film is a touch faster, so I usually use it in darker getting ready rooms or as the sun is setting and things are getting darker. The Fuji 400 is my workhorse – daytime film for every condition.
