using film at a a wedding at night - Black & White wedding photos
Today’s photo is another one from one of the very first film weddings I photographed. Here’s the scenario:
It’s a small intimate family wedding. Things ran a bit late, and the ceremony didn’t start on time (not because of any drama, sometimes, it just takes longer to get ready than people expect). As the wedding started, the sun was setting, and as it ended it was getting pretty dark.
I loaded some Kodak P3200 into my Nikon F5, just to see what would happen.
As the couple was pronounced, and made their way back to the house for a few minutes for each other, I grabbed this shot. I love the graininess in this shot, you can’t copy it with digital. No black and white photoshop action can do this.
