Weddings at Moon River Ranch
by Eric Hegwer on 9 December, 2008
Acouple of months ago I was contacted by a message-board friend, Chris Austin, from Southern California. He was coming to Texas to shoot a wedding and needed a 2nd shooter. Since I was available that weekend, I offered my services. It was a lovely small ceremony at Moon River Ranch, about an hour and a half north of Austin (and south of Dallas) outside Waco TX.
If you are getting married there, let me know, I’d love to shoot there again! Here are some of my favorites from the day.
Hand painted wedding signs
Playing Horseshoes before the wedding to relax
A day in the country is worth a month in town
Fresh pink lemonade, and sweet ice tea was on hand before, during, and after the wedding for the guests.
I try to grab a quick semi-formal portrait of each and every important person at your wedding.
unless you are familiar with french cuffs, you might need help with cufflinks
The groom talking with his friend
There is a small (seats 40) wedding chapel at Moon River Ranch, for intimate weddings (or photos), and room outside for weddings of 200+
